Game rules

Maketoo is a town for everyone. With these rules we keep it fun, fair and safe.

Be kind

Treat everyone with respect. No swearing, bullying, threatening or discriminating.
No sexual, violent or other inappropriate talk and no inappropriate names or room names.

Stay safe

Never share your password, address, phone number, school or other personal details.
Never meet up with someone you only know from the game without your parents knowing.
The police, the mayor and the president never ask for your password.

Play fair

One account per person. No extra accounts to collect play money, tasks or challenges.
No scams when swapping or trading. What you agree, you also do.
Found a bug in the game? Report it and don’t abuse it.
No trading play money or items for real money outside the game.

No advertising or spam

No advertising for other sites, no links to unknown sites and no repeated messages.

The town council

Officers and chief officers handle reports. They can warn, give a chat ban, send someone to the square or block them.
The mayor and the president decide when in doubt. Everything the council does is recorded in a log.
Don’t agree with a decision? Calmly report it to the mayor or the president.

Report

Is someone being annoying? Click on that person and choose “Report to the police”. The last chat lines are included.

For violations the council can warn, give a chat ban or (temporarily) block an account. See also the terms and conditions.
